Monday's are Spin Nights here at So Many Hobbies. That means I don't have time once I get home to put together a post. I'm going to try something new for a while and see how it goes. So, each Monday, I'll put together a list of things that have some importance for me. Hopefully, you'll find something of interest to you. Here's today's list:
Books I want to read:
- The Fruit Hunters: A Story of Nature, Adventure, Commerce, and Obsession by Adam Leith Gollner. This book tells the adventures of the author as he travels around the world seeking out new fruits.
- 500 Handmade Books: Inspiring Interpretations of a Timeless Form from Lark books. I am an occassional book-binder and seeing what others have created is very inspirational.
- Cry Wolf by Patricia Briggs. Another urban fantasy from an author I just adore.
- Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day: The Discovery That Revolutionizes Home Baking by Jeffrey Hertzberg. Actually, I'm not sure I want to try out this cookbook or not. Bread may be the staff of life but it really fills out your jeans.
- The Deep: The Extraordinary Creatures of the Abyss by Claire Nouvian. More proof that we live on an amazing, magical planet.
C'mon, Becky, give our book a try. And if you have questions we actually answer them, on our website: www.artisanbreadinfive.com
