This is about a pound of singles. Yee ha! The top and left bobbins will be spun together and the middle and right bobbins will be spun together. I dyed more wool today but alas, it's still drying so no picture just yet. I may have to redye some of it as it may be too dark. The idea is to gradually move from white to dark blue and I think the lightest blue may not be light enough. I've been thinking of which shawl to knit from the yarn and I'm leaning toward knitting a Faroese shawl from Stahman's Shawls & Scarves. I'll take any suggestions you might have for a first shawl. I'm a bit worried a Faroese shawl might be too complicated for my first big knitting project. I don't consider my basic sock or mittens to be more than a small project since the patterns is VERY simple: no charts or pages of directions to follow.
Sorry, but I don't have anything more. Aside from a load of laundry and changing the sheets, I didn't really do much more than spin this weekend. I didn't even pick blueberries. I was hoping for the thunderstorms they said we might get but they never happened. Ah, I love a good thunderstorm.
they're lovely! I can't wait to see them plied (or your gradated dyeing!)

Love those blues! Thunderstorms make summer tolerable, especially if you can stay indoors and enjoy them.

Holy gorgeousness, Batman!! Now I feel like an utter spinning slacker. :) Don't freak out, but I kind of want to lick your bobbins. :)
