I'm afraid I have nothing tonight. All I've been doing is spinning, and naturally, I've forgotten to take a picture of the pale blue roving. I'm close to finishing all five shades. I'd really like to have the singles spun by the end of tomorrow night but I'm don't think I'm going to get there, although it's going to be close. I've already got six full bobbins of singles and I'm working on the 7th and 8th. The plying is going to take me a while.
I've narrowed down my choices of shawls to four patterns. I'm looking for a working shawl, not something lacey and frilly. That's really not me. The first is the Charlotte's Web shawl that TurtleGirl just finished. It's what inspired me to spin for a shawl in the first place. The second contender is the Feather & Fan Comfort Shawl. A lot of people seem to be making this one. Third is one of Myrna Stahman's Faroese shawls. And the fourth is the Show Your Colors shawl from Spunky Eclectic. The last one is at the bottom of the list because I'm afraid it might be too boring knitting all that stockinette. Like I said before, I won't be able to make a decision until I know my yardage.
I vote for Charlotte's Web.
