That's a lot of squares. 400? They must be tiny!

I use that method, too, but when I'm making a *lot* of half-square triangles I use the grid method.

Some years ago, I was making piles of miniature basket and pinetree quilts, which involved even bigger piles of half-square triangles. Anything that speeded up the process was a real boon!
