The is the before-the-vet shot. Afterward, they wouldn't have anything to do with them. They had their yearly checku-ups and shots. Dr. White gave them both a clean bill of health.
The Tour started Saturday. After all my "training" for the Tour de Fleece, I completely blew the opening day. Hey, it was a long week and I was tired. I did do some prep work for spinning the New Zealand Corriedale I bought and scoured last weekend. The tips were dirty and needed to be opened up. I left the pile of nicely opened up locks alone for just a minute:
You'd think I'd learn by now that soft, warm stuff can't be left unattended. I guess I'm a slow learner. Besides, they look so comfortable.
Tyr, as I've told you, likes to steal "toys" off the kitchen counter. Usually, this is limited to milk rings and milk caps. Last fall, after I harvested the potatoes, she started stealing potatoes off the counter. To date I've found 12 sprouted potatoes under various appliances and bookcases, the latest one from under the refridgerator. Clearly I need to clean under the fridge more often.
Or get a potato basket with a lock on it...
